Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello to divorce after seven years of wedded bliss

The stunning actress and the handsome actor have shocked their fans by announcing their plans to divorce, after seven years of marriage.
The couple, who met in 2014 and married in 2016, said in a joint statement that they have “amicably decided to end our marriage” and that they “remain deeply grateful for the love and support we have received from our family and friends”.
Vergara, 49, and Manganiello, 44, were considered one of the most beautiful and compatible couples in Hollywood, often showing off their affection and admiration for each other on the red carpet and on social media. They also shared a passion for philanthropy and animal welfare, and supported each other’s careers.
However, according to sources close to them, they had been struggling with some issues for a long time, and they finally decided to call it quits.
One of the main reasons was their conflicting views on having children. Vergara, who has a 29-year-old son from her first marriage, did not want to have more kids, while Manganiello was eager to start a family with her.
“They loved each other very much, but they couldn’t agree on this matter,” one source said. “Joe really wanted to be a dad, but Sofía felt like she was too old and too busy to go through pregnancy and motherhood again. She also had some health problems that made it risky for her to conceive. They tried to compromise, but they couldn’t find a solution that worked for both of them.”
Another source said that the couple had also grown apart due to their different personalities and interests. Vergara, who is the highest-paid actress on television thanks to her role in Modern Family, is also a savvy businesswoman and a social butterfly, while Manganiello, who starred in True Blood and Magic Mike, is more of a homebody and a geek.
“They had very different lifestyles and hobbies,” the source said. “Sofía loved to go out and party with her friends, while Joe preferred to stay home and play video games or Dungeons & Dragons. They also had different tastes in movies, music, and books. They tried to share their interests, but they didn’t have much in common.”
